Kim Kuryea, senior vice president of human resources and administration at General Dynamics (NYSE: GD), will assume the role of chief financial officer at the company on Feb. 15.
She will succeed Jason Aiken, who currently holds the dual role of executive vice president of technologies and CFO, General Dynamics said Friday.
Phebe Novakovic, company chairman and CEO and a previous Wash100 awardee, said, “Kim is a seasoned finance executive with over 20 years of varied financial experience with the company including CFO of one of the company’s business units, head of the company’s internal audit function and the company’s controller.”
Aiken will transition to focusing on the operational responsibilities of the technologies group starting on the same date.
Additionally, General Dynamics announced other leadership moves including the retirement of Mark Roualet, current executive vice president of the company’s combat systems business, in April.
Danny Deep, president of the land systems unit, will take over Roualet’s role on April 15, while David Paddock, the president of the jet aviation segment, will succeed Deep on April 1. Jeremie Caillet, currently senior vice president of operations in Switzerland, will assume Paddock’s role.
