Dan Antal to Rejoin Leidos as General Counsel; Thomas Bell Quoted

Dan Antal, general counsel for Rolls-Royce Defense and North America, will rejoin Leidos (NYSE: LDOS) in the same capacity on April 1.

He will succeed the retiring Jerry Howe, who will continue to serve as an adviser at Leidos through March 15, 2025, to facilitate a smooth transition, the company said Wednesday.

Antal joined Rolls-Royce in 2021 after spending more than seven years at Leidos, where held legal positions including senior vice president and general counsel for the civil group, general counsel for defense and corporate secretary.

He also served as director of risk management for the Middle East and director of operations at MWH Global.

“With his deep industry knowledge and his thorough understanding of Leidos, Dan is uniquely positioned to hit the ground running and lead our legal team. His expertise will be instrumental in safeguarding our global business,” said Leidos CEO Thomas Bell.

Bell also commended Howe for his service as general counsel in the past seven years.
