Eqlipse Technologies unveiled plans to purchase signals intelligence and electronic warfare technology provider SR Technologies for an undisclosed amount.
The deal was announced Wednesday by private equity firm Arlington Capital Partners, which owns equity in Eqlipse.
SRT has 51 U.S. patents for products ranging from satellite communications, Wi-Fi networks and Bluetooth silicon-on-insulators, which meet government customers’ requirements for modularity, scalability and interoperability. It is known for technologies such as Windjammer, LANShark and BlueFin.
“Eqlipse is focused on bringing innovation to our customers’ missions through research and development, novel technologies, and market leading capabilities for complex problems,” said David Wodlinger, a managing partner at Arlington Capital Partners. “SRT’s culture of innovation, cutting-edge products, and a dedicated team are natural fit with Eqlipse and we are excited about the technology that we can build together.”
The acquisition may be completed in the fourth quarter of this year if regulatory approvals and customary closing conditions are met.
