Industry Veteran Ed Newman Appointed Michael Baker VP

Ed Newman, former federal sector leader at Hill International, has joined Michael Baker International as vice president of cost management.

The three-decade industry veteran will oversee a companywide cost management team that manages the planning, design and development of construction and environmental projects for local and international government clients, Michael Baker said Friday.

Newman most recently managed business development, quality assurance, technical oversight and contract administration for Hill International’s federal business customers, including the General Services Administration, the FBI and NASA.

Before joining the private sector, he served in the U.S. Army as an officer and was assigned to several combat engineer units across the U.S. and overseas.
