NASA Seeks Comments on Draft Solicitation for SEWP VI IT Support GWAC

NASA has begun soliciting insights on a draft request for proposals for the sixth iteration of the Solutions for Enterprise-Wide Procurement contract meant to serve as an acquisition vehicle for information technology products and services.

The agency is seeking feedback from potential vendors on the draft RFP’s requirements, evaluation approaches and criteria, schedules, security, export control, safety, occupational health and other programmatic risk issues related to the performance of work, according to a presolicitation notice published Friday.

SEWP VI will be a governmentwide acquisition, fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-delivery contract with an ordering period of 10 years and three categories meant to streamline governmental access across the entire information and communications technology and audio-visual products and services landscape.

The first category focuses on a full range of IT products, such as hardware and software, including cloud-based platforms, testing, maintenance, installation, testing and integration support.

The second category deals with agency-wide strategic platforms that improve an agency’s IT infrastructure through cloud services, shared and managed services.

The third category focuses on IT services that provide a full range of technology services, including custom computer programming services, telecommunication services, data processing and analysis services, hosting, IT and network operation and computer facilities, ICT and AV management services, IT consulting and educational support, digital government and cybersecurity and security systems services.

NASA intends to release the final RFP by February 2024 and award the IDIQ contract by October 2024. The agency expects SEWP VI to take effect in May 2025.

An industry day will be held on Oct. 18 in College Park, Maryland.

Comments on the draft RFP are due Oct. 2.
