GDIT Secures $99M CBP Contract for Comms, Training, Operations & Deployment Support

The Department of Homeland Security’s Customs and Border Protection has awarded General Dynamics’ (NYSE: GD) information technology business a potential five-year, $99 million contract to provide communications, training, stakeholder engagement and operations and deployment support services for CBP’s trade office.

CBP named General Dynamics Information Technology as the selected vendor for the CTOD support contract through an award notice published Friday.

The single-award, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract will primarily support OT’s trade facilitation and enforcement initiatives and other CBP programs, according to a solicitation published in June.

Communications support, for instance, includes general, executive, end-user and multimedia communications. Training assistance covers training design, development, delivery and maintenance support and training development during Agile system development.

The ordering period under the IDIQ contract is expected to run through Sept. 14, 2028.
