AT&T Awarded $259M USDA Telecommunications Support Contract

AT&T (NYSE: T) has received a potential four-year, $258.6 million contract from the U.S. Department of Agriculture to provide telecommunications support services for USDA.

The company will provide data and voice services for USDA under the sole-source, firm-fixed-price contract, which has a one-year base period and three option years, according to an award notice published Friday.

The contract seeks to maintain operational capabilities and prevent service disruption as USDA transitions from the Networx legacy contract to the General Services Administration’s Enterprise Infrastructure Solutions contract.

USDA continues to use Networx for continuity of services under a memorandum of understanding with GSA, which is set to expire on May 31, 2026.
