Former Army Leader John Murray Added to Klas Government’s Board of Advisers

John Murray, a retired four-star U.S. Army general, was added to the board of advisers of Klas Government to contribute defense and national security expertise to the military communications company.

Highlighting Murray’s service and experience with the Department of Defense, Klas Government CEO Bill Ostrowski said in a statement published Monday, “This will help guide how we work to partner in modernizing and innovating with the U.S. government.”

Murray has over three decades of service in the Army, most notably serving as commanding general of the Army Futures Command. At AFC, he was responsible for overseeing the service branch’s modernization initiatives and ensuring it maintains leadership in technological advancements and innovation.

His career also includes time serving as commanding general of Joint Task Force-3, deputy chief of staff, G-8, in the Pentagon, and assistant deputy director for joint training, J-7, Joint Staff.

Murray said he will help the Klas Government team have better understanding of and access to the defense market.
