FEMA Plans Cloud Data Exchange Tech Procurement

The Federal Emergency Management Agency is seeking input from vendors specializing in cloud-based data and analytics as part of its technology modernization push.

FEMA issued Thursday a request for information to support the development of FEMADex in accordance with Agile methodology principles.

The agency is interested in small businesses or larger corporations that can recommend Agile-based performance metrics to ensure that the future cloud-based delivery service will be effective on government agencies.

Experience in the integration of DevSecOps with Agile methods is preferred.

FEMA is keen on the responsible implementation of artificial intelligence and machine learning in the project.

The RFI will close on Aug. 15, according to the sources sought notice posted on SAM.gov.
