GE Aerospace Books $423M Defense Logistics Agency Contract for F-Series Engine Supplies

GE Aerospace will provide the Defense Logistics Agency supplies related to an engine product series that powers military fighter and bomber aircraft under a $422.8 million contract.

The sole-source acquisition contract for F101, F110 and F118 engines has a firm-fixed-price, requirements-type structure, the Defense Department said Friday.

Defense appropriated and working capital funds in fiscal year 2023 through fiscal 2027 will be the source of financing for the award.

The U.S. Army, Navy and Air Force can procure the motors through the contract, which comprises a five-year base period and one five-year option.

In April, GE Aerospace was awarded a $683.7 million contract by the Navy to manufacture CH-53K helicopter turbo shaft engines.
