VA Awards 6 Spots on $15B Medical Supply Management Support IDIQ

The Department of Veterans Affairs has awarded six companies positions on a potential 10-year, $15 billion contract to help manage and support the distribution of medical, surgical, laboratory and dental supplies to VA medical centers and other government agencies.

VA’s Medical/Surgical Prime Vendor Generation-Z Version 1 is a multiple-award, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract with a five-year base term and one five-year option period, according to an award notice published Tuesday.

The MSPV Gen-Z V1 program is a collaboration between the Veterans Health Administration Medical Supply Program Office and the Strategic Acquisition Center – Frederick.

The awardees are:

  • Cardinal Health 200
  • Cardinal Health P.R. 220
  • Concordance Healthcare Solutions
  • McKesson Medical-Surgical Government Solutions
  • Medline Industries
  • Owens & Minor Distribution
