Idemia’s U.S. arm has secured a potential $128 million contract to provide credential authentication platforms and support services for the Department of Homeland Security’s Transportation Security Administration.
Idemia Identity & Security USA will provide design, manufacturing, engineering, training, test support, maintenance, delivery and logistics support services under the Next Generation Credential Authentication Technology indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract, according to an award notice published Monday.
Under the CAT2 contract, the vendor will provide transportation security systems for assessing various credentials and displaying authentication results to TSA officers and other authorized airport users.
