The retired U.S. Navy admiral will report to Carlo Zaffanella, president and CEO of Ultra Maritime, and will work in the Washington, D.C. area to oversee Ultra Maritime’s technical and business growth strategies, the company said Thursday.
Prior to this appointment, Kenny was VP for advanced naval systems and VP and general manager of L3Harris’ unmanned maritime division.
He also served as CEO of undersea software vendors Adaptive Methods and VP and general manager of special mission systems at Northrup Grumman (NYSE: NOC).
Kenny serves on the advisory council of the Association of Unmanned Vehicle Systems International and the National Defense Industrial Association’s Undersea Warfare Division.
