David Streett Succeeds Gary Lisota as Valkyrie CEO

David Streett, former president and chief operating officer of Valkyrie Enterprises, has been promoted to CEO of the Virginia-based technology and engineering services provider.

He succeeds Valkyrie Founder Gary Lisota, who will continue to serve as vice chairman with oversight of business development and growth initiatives, the company said Wednesday.

Streett’s promotion is part of a strategic reorganization after DC Capital Partners invested in Valkyrie and moved to combine the latter with the private equity firm’s portfolio company Hill Technical Solutions to provide an expanded set of capabilities in support of defense and government agency clients’ changing requirements.

The U.S. Navy veteran moved to Valkyrie in 2010 after holding roles of increasing responsibility at Newport News Shipbuilding.

The reorganization also included the formation of two business units. Industry veterans Mike Anderson and Dale Hopper will lead Valkyrie’s mission solutions and sustainment and modernization units.

Founded in 2007, Valkyrie provides platforms and services across the areas of information technology, command, control, communications, computers, cyber and intelligence and missile defense. The company has over 800 employees across 16 locations worldwide and $200 million in revenue.
