CloudShape Secures $144M USAID Hybrid Cloud Services Contract

CloudShape has received a $144 million contract to continue providing the U.S. Agency for International Development with hybrid cloud services in support of its enterprise data center and disaster recovery systems.

The company said Tuesday it will help USAID transition its data centers and applications to a secure multi-cloud environment to enhance infrastructure resiliency over a 10-year contracting period.

CloudShape was a subcontractor on a five-year, $68.2 million cloud data center support contract awarded to CGI in 2017.

Brad Osborne, co-founder and CEO of CloudShape, said the company will focus on helping USAID achieve business outcomes required to meet its mission objectives.

Maryland-headquartered CloudShape is a small business that offers managed cloud services to government customers under the GSA Schedule contract and other federal acquisition vehicles.
