Army Posts Draft Battle Command Training Equipment Solicitation

The Army Program Executive Office for Simulation, Training and Instrumentation has posted a draft solicitation for a potential seven-year, $250 million contract vehicle that seeks to equip mission training complexes with multipurpose training and simulation equipment.

A notice posted Thursday on says the Battle Command Training Equipment contract will cover the provision of training enablers to active and reserve components within and outside the continental U.S.

PEO-STRI is seeking to replace commercial off-the-shelf hardware, software and software licenses to maintain the cybersecurity of furniture, fixtures, equipment, network and technical tools.

The BCTE program is reserved as a small business set-aside contract opportunity to provide the warfighter tools and equipment that connect MTCs to constructive simulations.

Comments and recommendations on the draft solicitation are due Jan. 25.
