Former Northrop Exec Gator Harvey Takes VP Role at Serco’s North American Subsidiary

Serco Group’s North American subsidiary has appointed former Northrop Grumman (NYSE: NOC) executive Gator Harvey as vice president of transportation and homeland security services.

He will be responsible for Serco Inc.’s operations and business development strategies in emergency management, fleet, aviation and intelligent transport services, the company said Tuesday.

Harvey spent two decades at Northrop, most recently as director of civil solutions. His various roles in the company entailed engagements with customers including the Department of Defense, CIA, NASA, and the Department of Homeland Security.

His defense industry experience is rooted from his tenure in the U.S. Marine Corps, during which he was assigned in combat and operational tours for 24 years.

“Gator is a seasoned veteran both from his industry experience and his time in uniform who will bring a depth of knowledge and experience with leading and growing large and complex businesses to our Transportation and Homeland Security portfolio,” said Tom Watson, CEO of Serco Inc.
