NIST Posts Draft Solicitation for Cybersecurity, Privacy Support Services IDIQ

The National Institute of Standards and Technology has posted a draft solicitation for a potential five-year, $125 million contract vehicle to acquire cybersecurity and privacy support services.

NIST is seeking industry input on five separate mock task orders for standards support, software development, National Initiative for Cybersecurity Education support services, crypto validation support and supply chain interdependencies, according to a notice posted on SAM.gov on Tuesday.

The agency plans to compete the multiple-award indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract vehicle as a total small business set-aside program.

Work is expected to begin on June 1, 2023, and end on May 31, 2028.

The anticipated final solicitation will require potential offerors to respond to the requirements of the contract and the mock task orders’ performance work statements.

Interested companies have until Jan. 13, 2023, to respond to the draft solicitation.
