Crowley Books Potential $95M Contract to Operate, Maintain Ships for Military Sealift Command

Crowley will help the U.S. Navy’s Military Sealift Command operate and maintain transportation auxiliary general ocean surveillance and missile range instrumentation vessels under a potential two-year, $95.3 million contract.

The company will manage six T-AGOS and T-AGM units, which are respectively intended for anti-submarine warfare and missile or rocket tracking operations, the Defense Department said Friday.

The firm-fixed-price contract has a base value of $45.9 million and includes a pair of six-month option periods that would extend services through May 30, 2024. The Navy will obligate an initial $4.2 million from working capital funds for fiscal 2023.

The award covers the following government-owned vessels:

  • USNS Victorious
  • USNS Able
  • USNS Effective
  • USNS Loyal
  • USNS Impeccable
  • USNS Howard O. Lorenzen

In August, Crowley Government Services won a potential five-year, $343.2 million contract to operate and maintain six container roll-on/roll-off vessels for MSC.
