Evan Scott Promoted to Lockheed Treasurer, Edward Paul Elevates to Controller Post

Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT) has promoted 23-year company veteran Evan Scott to the position of treasurer and appointed Edward Paul, former vice president of accounting, to serve as controller.

They will hold VP titles in addition to their new finance roles, Lockheed said Monday.

Scott replaces John Mollard, who will retire from the company by the end of the year after a nearly four-decade career, and will oversee worldwide banking and financial planning and analysis functions.

The treasurer will additionally oversee LMC Properties, a Lockheed subsidiary focused on the corporation’s real estate portfolio.

As controller, Paul will be responsible for corporate processes related to accounting, government finance, financial transformation and systems and global financial services.

The certified public accountant came to Lockheed in May 2011 and previously held accounting and audit duties at Discovery Communications and EY.

Lockheed Martin is a sponsor for the Potomac Officers Club’s 2022 Air Force Summit, where AF Secretary Frank Kendall will serve as the opening keynote speaker.
