ERC Books $91M Army Contract for Redstone Test Center Support Services

Engineering Research and Consulting will provide the U.S. Army with services in support of its Redstone Test Center under a $90.8 million cost-plus-fixed-fee contract.

ERC was tasked to perform work at the Redstone Arsenal, Alabama-based center through April 19, 2023, the Department of Defense said Monday.

RTC serves as an Army Test and Evaluation Command tenant activity that supports the planning and execution of tests on missile and sensor systems and other platforms, as well as the analysis and communication of test results. It offers technical expertise and T&E facilities and capabilities needed by its customers.

To procure RTC support services, the contractor was obligated the full amount from the Army’s fiscal 2022 research, development, test and evaluation funds.

ERC won the contract following an online solicitation from the service branch, with Army Contracting Command serving as the contracting activity.

The Huntsville, Alabama-based company was founded in 1988 and has, since then, been delivering engineering and technical services to defense and space customers.
