James “Jim” Hutcherson, a Salesforce trainer for public and academic institutions, has been named vice president of cloud platform solutions at B3 Group, a Herndon, Virginia-based information technology consulting firm providing digital services to federal government and enterprise customers.
He oversees B3 Group’s cloud governance and strategy and works with the digital transformation team to improve business processes related to security, ATOs, platform management and application, the company said Wednesday.
Matthew Garvey, executive vice president of digital services at B3 Group, said Hutcherson’s appointment marks the company’s commitment to advancing a long-term cloud strategy.
Hutcherson most recently served as Salesforce practice lead and chief technical architect at Capgemini’s government solutions business and worked with federal clients, including the U.S. Navy Reserve, Department of Homeland Security and the General Services Administration.
He has over three decades of experience in sales, strategy, operations, marketing, cloud computing and business analytics.
