Data Systems Analysts appointed John Foley to succeed Frances Pierce as chairman of the board and CEO. The transition, effective Feb. 1, coincides with several other executive appointments, the company said Wednesday.
Foley will oversee strategic growth, financial operations, contracts, procurement, IT and quality management. Pierce, who is retiring after decades with the company, will remain on DSA’s board of directors and continue serving as a trustee.
Who Is John Foley?
John Foley is a seasoned executive and organizational leader who has served as DSA’s president and chief financial officer for more than 15 years. He previously worked as a controller at CIGNA and held various business, finance and marketing leadership roles at Lockheed Martin Information Systems and Global Services and Half.com, an eBay company.
What Additional Executive Changes Were Announced?
Alongside the CEO transition, DSA promoted several executives to drive growth and advance operational priorities.
Robert Wheeler was named chief technology and innovation officer and will lead artificial intelligence, digital transformation and enterprise technology initiatives. He has been with DSA for over a decade, most recently serving as senior vice president of Department of War programs. Before joining DSA, he served as chief operating officer of Symbolic Systems for over 20 years.
DSA also elevated Wayne Irwin to vice president of DOW programs, overseeing delivery across the portfolio, and named Eoin O’Driscoll as VP of CIP to lead strategy and execution for critical infrastructure protection.
Chris Guyton will serve as VP of intelligence programs, overseeing the company’s intelligence mission portfolio. In this role, he will drive operational excellence, ensure customer alignment and expand capabilities across the intelligence community.
Mike Emerle was named treasurer in addition to his current role as VP of finance.
