GovExec said Wednesday it seeks to combine a database of three million monthly engagers with GovTribe’s machine learning-based platform that suggests market insight for GovCon community users.
“Our research has shown GovTribe to be one of the highest value tools for business development professionals who have used it,” said GovExec CEO Tim Hartman.
Hartman added that GovExec has been developing a market intelligence tool over the past eight months.
GovTribe, founded in 2012 by Nate Nash and Jay Hariani, will retain its corporate office in Northern Virginia and will undergo on a transition process as the two companies are looking to integrate human resources and infrastructure assets in the coming months.
Private equity firm Growth Catalyst Partners helped finance the transaction.
