Albert “Al” Stewart, a three-decade government market veteran, has joined Xator as senior vice president for business development.
His appointment took effect June 1 and he is responsible for overseeing business growth strategies throughout the corporation, including its family of companies, Xator said.
He also oversaw capture, business development and strategic analysis functions during his more than 11 years of service at Northrop Grumman (NYSE: NOC).
Prior to Northrop, Stewart held a 23-year career at Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT) where he led the company’s engineering and naval advisory support services for the U.S. Navy’s SSN 688I AN/BSY-1 Command and Control System.
He earned an executive leadership certificate from the University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business, a certificate in international contracting from George Washington University and a certificate in strategic marketing from the University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business.
