Maximus to Provide UK National Probation Service Users With Training, Employment Support

Maximus‘ (NYSE: MMS) U.K. business arm has received four contracts from the country’s Ministry of Justice for delivery of education, training and employment support to over 45,000 people overseen by a statutory criminal justice service.

The company will help National Probation Service users across London, the North West, the West Midlands and Wales pursue education, enhance skills and secure or maintain jobs.

Advisers will be assigned to service users to provide the latter with employment and training support while Maximus U.K. will collaborate with employers to offer job opportunities and promote inclusive recruitment practices.

“Through ETE, we will support tens of thousands of people to move forward with their lives and access the training and skills they need,” said Paul Williams, division president of Maximus U.K.

The company will work with specialist local partners to provide support for three years under the contracts.
