Catherine Urban, formerly deputy chief financial officer of Advanced Concepts and Technologies International, has been appointed to succeed Mark Hughes as CFO of ACT I.
She will directly report to ACT I CEO Michael Niggel and will bring to the role decades of business operations and finance experience with oversight of the company’s program control, pricing, controller and mergers and acquisitions strategy, the company said Wednesday.
Hughes will continue to serve on the company’s senior leadership team as an executive adviser advising leaders on acquisition, strategic planning and growth opportunities.
Urban has over two decades of experience in government contracting. Her GovCon career included time as CFO of Unisys’ (NYSE: UIS) federal arm, vice president for operations and finance at ASRC Federal and acting finance administration director at Computer Sciences Corp.
