Michael Bowers, a more than three-decade federal information technology services industry veteran, has joined Pragmatics as president.
He will oversee business development, operations and Pragmatics’ technology solutions group and bring to the role his experience in mergers and acquisitions, organizational strategy execution, finance and contracts to pursue growth initiatives and innovation and expand the company’s presence in the IT market, the company said in an April 12 news release.
Pragmatics CEO Long Nguyen said Bowers’ strategic thinking and management experience will help advance growth and improve the company’s customer service and offerings.
Bowers worked at DRT Strategies as chief growth officer prior to joining Pragmatics and was senior vice president for federal civilian business at NTT Data. He has held leadership positions at Xerox’s public sector business, Indus and Vangent.
Reston, Virginia-based Pragmatics provides cloud, DevSecOps, data platforms and other IT support services to federal government clients.
