SAIC also announced the appointment of Mike McGrew, executive VP, chief communications and corporate social responsibility and diversity officer for Constellation Brands (NYSE: STZ), as board fellow.

McGrew was selected to join SAIC’s board through the Heidrick and Struggles’ Director Institute, a program that seeks to develop and prepare diverse executives for corporate governance and operating roles and allows them to improve boardroom discussions and share insights and experiences. The program was established with advisers EY, The Rock Center for Corporate Governance at Stanford University and Skadden Arps. As a Director Institute participant, SAIC Chief Human Resources Officer Michelle O’Hara will join Constellation’s board as an observer.

McGrew started his career at Constellation Brands in 2014 as senior director of communications for the beer division. He previously held corporate communications roles at Morton International, Alliant Foodservice and Grainger. He sits on the board of Urban Initiatives and is a Leadership Greater Chicago Fellow.
