KBR to Provide Navy C-UAS Support Under $93M Contract; Byron Bright Quoted

TYSONS CORNER, VA, February 25, 2021 — KBR (NYSE: KBR) has secured a five-year, $92.6 million contract from the U.S. Navy for engineering, integration and sustainment services to the service branch’s counter-unmanned air systems supporting homeland security and air defense missions, ExecutiveBiz reported Feb. 16.

Byron Bright, president of KBR’s government solutions business and 2021 Wash100 Award recipient, said the company will help the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division advance C-UAS technology to secure U.S. armed forces deployed worldwide and make an impact within the Department of Defense and the international allied community.

Work under the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract includes identification and data system integration and installation, material supply management as well as training curriculum development and implementation.
