Encantado will work with subcontractors Amentum and Information International Associates to develop and field enterprise IT systems, data management tools and websites and deliver cloud, high-performance computing, code development, disaster recovery, scripting and other computing services to Sandia, ECS said Thursday.
The small business mentor-protege JV will operate and maintain Sandia’s telephone infrastructure and telecommunications network and provide service-desk support for classified and unclassified users and devices under the Third-Party Telecommunications and IT support services BPA with National Technology and Engineering Solutions of Sandia.
“We will leverage Encantado’s Centers of Excellence and innovation labs focused on IT operations, cloud, cybersecurity, software modernization, and artificial intelligence to maximize Sandia’s investments and achieve the labs’ long-term IT strategy,” John Heneghan, chief operating officer of ECS.
Encantado said it will create jobs in Albuquerque and Livermore, California, and establish a nonprofit foundation to support the digital workforce through training opportunities and advance STEM education-related development initiatives.
