H2O Guam JV Wins $98M Naval Base Wharf Repair, Modernization Project

The U.S. Navy has selected the H2O Guam joint venture for a potential $98M contract to repair and modernize Naval Base Guam's Lima Wharf and related structures.

Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command received three proposals for the project that also includes repair work on civil, mechanical, structural, electrical, telecommunication and fire protection systems, the Department of Defense said Monday.

The JV will also fix site utility systems, replace a power substation and install telecom duct banks, a control and data acquisition platform and fiber optic lines as part of the firm-fixed-price contract.

DOD added the contractor will perform environmental site monitoring and mitigation work during dredging and sheet piling efforts.

The department expects the project to be finished in November 2023.
