AECOM Subsidiary Gets $116M Army Contract Modification for Lock & Dam Rehabilitation Work

Jeff Brody

Shimmick Construction, a subsidiary of AECOM (NYSE: ACM), has been awarded a $116.4M contract modification to help the U.S. Army restore the LaGrange Lock and Dam system in Versailles, Ill.

The Department of Defense said Monday it estimates that contract work will be complete by July 21, 2021.

AECOM’s energy and construction business received a $117.3M contract in November 2018 to support wicket dam rehabilitation efforts at the Illinois River Basin.

The Los Angeles-based company acquired Shimmick in 2017 for approximately $175M.
