Jeff Brody

DynCorp International has received a potential five-year, $95M task order under a U.S. Army contract vehicle to provide logistics support for the Afghanistan air force's light scout attack helicopters.

The company said Thursday it will provide materials, equipment and associated services to support the AAF's MD530F Cayuse Warrior fleet.

Army Contracting Command awarded the task order under the potential $25.5B Worldwide Logistics Support Services–Contractor Logistics Support contract.

The order contains one base and four option years.

MD 530F, manufactured by MD Helicopters, is an armed version of the OH-6 Cayuse light observation helicopter.
