Mike Barthlow: Cubic’s New GPU Module Designed to Process Data ‘at the Edge’

TYSONS CORNER, VA, December 10, 2019 — Cubic’s (NYSE: CUB) mission solutions business released a graphics processing unit module designed to support tactical data processing, Executive Biz reported Dec. 3.

The company said Dec. 2 it developed the M3-SE-GPU technology to facilitate artificial intelligence and analytics via the module’s deep learning engine and support for NVIDIA‘s JetPack software development kit.

“M3-SE-GPU module enables improved real-time intelligence at the edge, where and when it is needed most,” said Mike Barthlow, senior vice president and general manager of rugged internet of things at Cubic Mission Solutions.
