A General Dynamics (NYSE: GD) business unit has won a potential five-year, $162.4M contract from the U.S. Army to provide systems designed to transport multipurpose equipment.

General Dynamics Land Systems will deliver small transport platforms along with associated hardware such as authorized stockage and prescribed load list kits under the cost-plus-fixed-fee and firm-fixed-price contract, the Department of Defense said Wednesday.

Work will involve refurbishment, training, storage, technical support, program management and field support services.

Army Contracting Command received four bids for the hybrid contract and will determine funds and work locations upon issuance of individual orders.

DoD expects the company to finish work by Oct. 29, 2024.
