Jeff Brody

Orolia Defense and Security has wrapped up its purchase of Talen-X in a move to add complementary positioning, navigation and timing products.

The Orolia spinoff company said Wednesday it seeks to further develop PNT offerings and build on Talen-X’s experience in developing global navigation simulation systems as well as interference, detection and mitigation platforms.

Orolia first announced the transaction in April 2018.

Rochester, N.Y.-based ODS offers PNT hardware and software platforms, including simulation systems and testing tools, for satellite navigation and threat mitigation applications.
