DLA Picks Innovation Associates for $450M Pharmacy Automation Contract

The Defense Logistics Agency has awarded Innovation Associates a potential 10-year, $450M contract to supply automated pharmaceutical systems and related accessories to the U.S. military.

DLA received 36 responses for the firm‐fixed‐price, indefinite‐delivery/indefinite‐quantity contract via a competitive acquisition process, the Department of Defense said Tuesday.

Innovation Associates will also provide training and maintenance services to government customers authorized to place orders under the Patient Monitoring and Capital Equipment Program.

The U.S. Army, Air Force, Navy and Marines as well as federal civilian agencies can procure equipment and support through the IDIQ, which has five base years plus one five-year option.
