Army Awards Five Spots on $150M Mississipi River Maintenance Contract

Five companies have secured spots on a potential five-year, $150M firm-fixed-price contract from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers to help maintain the Mississippi River and modernize its tributary channel.

USACE received five bids for the firm-fixed-price contract via the internet will provide funding and location details upon the issuance of task orders, the Department of Defense said Wednesday.

DoD expects the contractors to conclude work by July 3, 2024.

The awardees are:

  • Bertucci Contracting
  • Choctaw Transportation
  • Luhr Bros
  • Patton-Tully Marine
  • Pine Bluff Sand and Gravel
