Martha Shepard, VP of Contracts for BAE Systems, Receives 4×24 Chairman’s Award

Jim Garrettson, founder and CEO of Executive Mosaic, presented Martha Shepard, the vice president of Contracts with BAE Systems, the Chairman’s Award for completing her second year as the chairman of Contracts Group for Executive Mosaic’s 4×24 program.

This is the second consecutive year that Shepard has received the Chairman’s Award from Executive Mosaic. 

“I’m a strong believer in the power of networking. Actively participating in Executive Mosaic helps me to continue building relationships with key players in the Contracts profession,” said Shepard.”

In her current role with BAE Systems, Shepard is responsible for policy formulation and professional development functions for BAE’s U.S. and foreign-based entities. In addition, she monitors acquisition-related regulatory activity and represent the contracts for the commercial council for BAE Systems Plc and other trade organizations.

Before her time with BAE Systems, Shepard assisted Sanders Associates, which was acquired by Lockheed Martin, to manage aircraft maintenance and modification contracts with commercial and foreign government customers.

Shepard returned to New Hampshire as contracting lead for the due diligence and integration of newly acquired companies and later as director of domestic and international contracts after BAE bought Sanders.

Shepard earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Administration from Wheeling Jesuit University and a Juris Doctorate Degree from the Franklin Pierce Law Center.
