TYSONS CORNER, VA, January 10, 2018 — Premier (Nasdaq: PINC), a North Carolina-based health care company, has found that patients who experience an opioid overdose account for an estimated $11.3B in total annual costs at U.S. hospitals, with 66 percent of those patients covered under the federal Medicaid and Medicare programs, ExecutiveBiz reported Monday.
