Northrop Increases Cannon Production Capacity With Arizona Plant Expansion


TYSONS CORNER, VA, December 14, 2018 — Northrop Grumman (NYSE: NOC) has nearly doubled the capacity at a facility in Arizona that houses the production of its Bushmaster medium-caliber cannons for military customers, as part of an expansion in the company’s innovation systems sector, ExecutiveBiz reported Thursday.

The 36K-square-foot plant in Mesa, which colocates warehouse and manufacturing operations, will also add up to 60 new workers to deliver engineering, program management and manufacturing support, Northrop said Wednesday.
