Lockheed Martin‘s (NYSE: LMT) rotary and mission systems business has received a $184.1M firm-fixed-price contract modification to update subsystems of the U.S. Navy‘s AN/SLQ-32(V) electronic warfare system.
The Navy issued the award to exercise options under a previously award contract for Block 2 full-rate production as part of the Surface Electronic Warfare Improvement Program, the Department of Defensesaid Friday.
SEWIP Block 2 updates are meant to expand the system’s receiver and antenna functions.
