
Jacobs Engineering Group (NYSE: JEC) has promoted Marietta Hannigan, a 19-year company veteran, to chief strategy and communications officer, and named Madhuri Andrews, former chief information officer at DynCorp International, as CIO.
Steve Demetriou, Jacobs chairman and CEO, said in a statement published Tuesday the appointments are part of the companyâs efforts to reshape its âstrategy and portfolio to profit from technology and innovation focused on advanced facilities, infrastructure and government services.”
Hannigan, formerly senior vice president of growth and sales for Jacobsâ buildings, infrastructure and advanced facilities business, will oversee the development and execution of the firmâs corporate strategy, portfolio transformation and brand leadership in the newly created role.

She has held senior leadership roles since joining Jacobs in 1999 such as SVP of global outside sales and VP of design operations for the firmâs U.S. federal civilian sector.
Andrews will lead IT systems development initiatives and build up data platforms and architecture as CIO of Jacobs.
She brings more than two decades of leadership experience in IT transformation and digital strategies at DynCorp, Trinity Industries (NYSE: TRN) and other companies.
