Moritzkat told ExecutiveBiz in an interview published July 24 that Seagate Government Solutions will also release this year a heat-assisted magnetic recording disk technology designed to provide increased capacity with an eye toward the cloud and internet of things market, even as the company continues to invest in research and development for other data storage and protection capabilities.
