BAE Systems Inc. Places $45M Investment for Operations Expansion in Alabama


TYSONS CORNER, VA, July 18, 2018 — BAE Systems Inc. is moving to expand its operations in Huntsville, Ala., with a $45.5 million investment for new facilities and office space to house engineering development, laboratory work and defense technology production, ExecutiveBiz reported Tuesday.

The company said Monday the investment will fund a multi-phase business growth plan that includes increased space at its Discovery Drive offices and a new manufacturing facility at Cummings Research Park aimed to support work on precision munitions and aircraft survivability platforms as well as a potential surge in demand for electronic systems products.
