VIDEO: Inside the Fight for the Pentagon’s Cloud

Jun.08 — Cloud computing companies are competing for the Pentagon’s cloud. It’s a planned winner-take-all award for a multibillion-dollar cloud computing contract, calling the effort to choose a single provider the best approach for “rapidly delivering new capabilities” to U.S. forces deployed worldwide. Right now, many companies are in disarray saying this tactic for one winner puts Amazon in the lead. One company that could benefit from this hypothetical win, SAP N-S-2 — the U.S. based national security arm of SAP. Earlier this week, the company announced a new partnership with AWS, Amazon’s on-demand cloud computing platform. Bloomberg’s Emily Chang speaks with Mark Testoni, SAP N-S-2 CEO.
