Bettina Garcia Welsh, formerly senior vice president and chief audit executive ofÂ LeidosÂ (NYSE: LDOS), has joinedÂ LMIÂ as chief financial officer at the Tysons, Va.-based nonprofit management consulting firm.
The three-decade finance veteran will oversee LMI’sÂ financial operations and support its growth strategy, risk management process and mergers and acquisitions activities. the companyÂ said Wednesday.
“Her experience and leadership skills will help LMI grow, scale and maintain excellent stewardship of our customersâ resources,” said CEO and PresidentÂ Dave Zolet.
A certified public accountant, Welsh holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from Swarthmore College andÂ a master’s degree in accountancy from George Washington University.
