Mack Defense Secures $296M Army Dump Truck Supply Contract

Mack Trucks‘ defense business has received a potential seven-year $296.4 million contract to supply the U.S. Army with armored and armor-capable dump trucks.

The company said Wednesday the vehicles will be built to help Joint Forces conduct survivability, mobility, sustainment and counter-mobility operations in areas that have austere infrastructure or limited host nation support.

Allentown, Pa.-based Mack Defense is scheduled to complete work under the firm-fixed-price contract by May 18, 2025,

The Army sought bids for the procurement effort in June of last year.

Mack Defense offers heavy duty trucks to the federal and ministerial sectors.
