Lockheed Picks Raytheon to Deliver New Sensor for Future F-35 Jets


TYSONS CORNER, VA, June 15, 2018 — Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT) has selected Raytheon (NYSE: RTN) to supply the updated Distributed Aperture System sensor technology for future F-35 fighter aircraft, ExecutiveBiz reported Thursday.

DAS, which utilizes infrared cameras that work to provide imagery to pilots for increased battlespace situational awareness, will be integrated into the F-35 program’s Lot 15 and onward, Lockheed said Wednesday.
